        1. Timor Awakening (Timor Leste) – Veterans Care Association

          Timor Awakening is an immersive peer to peer wellbeing program for veterans; composing holistic health education, self-awareness, group therapy, mentoring, counselling, physical activity, historical commemoration and community development. The 11-day immersion in Timor-Leste, provides a disruption from participant’s routine to take pause, learn about themselves and seize responsibility for a positive direction forward in life. 

          Timor Awakening is available to Australian & New Zealand Veterans (and spouse or carer), with or without operational service. Participants provide each other with inspiration, practical tools, strategies and routines in overcoming trauma and re-establishing purposeful lives.

        2. Sandgate ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast

          2026 commemorations start at 4:00am with the traditional Gunfire Breakfast at the Sub Branch for members.

          Members and their families will be asked to attend the 5:00am Dawn Service at the nearby Memorial Park.

          We invite you to join us for the Dawn Service, which will commence promptly at 4:28am.

          To ensure a smooth and respectful gathering, please plan to arrive by 4:20am.

          Your timely presence will help honour the significance of this important occasion.

          The Dawn Service will be held at the nearby Memorial Park.

          The service will commence at 5:00am sharp.

          At the completion of the Dawn Service refreshments and a free breakfast will be available to members and their family.

        5. Coolum-Peregian ANZAC Day Dawn Service

          Join us on  ANZAC Day 2026 by joining us at Coolum Peregian RSL Sub Branch Inc located at 1906 David Low Way, Coolum Beach for the Annual Dawn Service commencing at 4:45am am with a Parade of veterans, schools, sporting and service clubs and followed by an awe-inspiring commemorative ceremony featuring school bands and choirs, keynote speeches and stories.

          Then join us for a Gunfire Breakfast in the Memorial Hall then 2 UP at 0800.

          Join us on  ANZAC Day 2026 for a Gunfire Breakfast in the Memorial Hall then 2 UP at 8:00am.

        7. Sandgate ANZAC Day March

          Members will be asked to form up at 8:45am on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Cliff Street to step off at 9:00am.

          Veterans will march along Brighton Road past Reviewing Officer. The march will conclude at the front of the Sub Branch in Burnett Place.

          Veterans will then be able to partake in refreshments and a free BBQ.

          Join us to catch up with old and new mates and toast those who have gone before us.

          The parade is scheduled to commence at 9am.

          Participants are requested to form up by 8:45am to ensure a timely start.

        9. Timor Awakening (Gold Coast) – Veterans Care Association

          Timor Awakening is a program centred around an 9-day immersion in Timor-Leste, creating a disruption from participants’ routine to take pause, learn about themselves and seize responsibility for a positive direction forward in life. Timor Awakening is available to Australian Veterans (and spouse or carer), from any state, with or without operational service. The aim of Timor Awakening is to prevent veteran suicide and improve the well-being of veterans and their families. 

          Timor Awakening is available to Australian & New Zealand Veterans (and spouse or carer), with or without operational service. Participants provide each other with inspiration, practical tools, strategies and routines in overcoming trauma and re-establishing purposeful lives.
