RSL Queensland’s 2025 State Congress will be held on Saturday 21 June 2025 at the Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC) in Brisbane. This annual event offers members the opportunity to:

Following the December 2024 call for nominations for the Vice President (Vice Chair) position and a skills-based Director position, we can advise that one nomination was received for each of these roles with each nominee demonstrating that they satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria.
Vice President (Vice Chair) nominee – Arran Hassell CSC
Skills-based Director nominee – Christopher Hamilton
Given this, and in accordance with the By-Laws, no vote for either position is required at the AGM. As part of proceedings at the AGM, the individual for each position will be duly elected by the Chair.

2025
Friday 14 March: Notice of Meeting | Registrations open | Motion template provided.
Friday 21 March: Nominations due – Vice President (Vice Chair) and a Skills-based Director.
Saturday 26 April: Sub Branch and District Motions due.
Friday 2 May: Notice of Nominations – Vice President (Vice Chair) and a Skills-based Director.
Friday 23 May: 2024 Annual Report and 2025 State Congress Documentation (including Notice of Motions) provided to members.
Friday 23 May: Registrations for 2025 State Congress and AGM close.
Tuesday 10 June: Travel itineraries provided to Delegates.
Saturday 21 June: 2025 State Congress and AGM at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane.
Friday 1 August: Minutes of 2025 AGM provided to members.
